MY YEAR OF DIVINE INTERVENTION AND OVERFLOWING SUCCESS -PART 2

Praise the Lord. I want to thank the Lord for daily loading us with benefits. May His name be praised for ever and ever, Amen!

Beloved, we are still continuing from our last month bulletin. This time we are going to look at what will make us to be successful in every area of our lives. Jesus said “that you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth,.” Acts 1:8 (NKJV).

I want to tell you some striking truth that:

- Many people have plans of what they want to do and what they want to achieve in life.

- Some they have tried to achieve their visions but they ended up in failure.

- Others are procrastinating to start what they are suppose to do.

You do not need to blame yourself for it is not by your might, not by your wisdom, not by your understanding, not by your knowledge, not by your strength, but, it is by the Spirit of the Lord-Zechariah 4:6. It is the Spirit that gives life; and the flesh profit nothing-John 6:63. It is the Spirit of the Lord that gives life. It means:

- It is the energy that will enable you to do and accomplish what you purposed in your heart.

- It is the Spirit of God that will take you from minimum to maximum.

- It is Holy Spirit that will enable you to run your business successfully.

- It is the Spirit of the Lord that will enable you to have a successful marriage.

- It is the Spirit of the Lord that will enable you in every area of your life to do what your own self cannot do.

“But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth,.” Acts 1:8 (NKJV).

The Desire Of The Lord Is For You To Be Successful:

In Jerusalem - it means your home/family-“Blessed shall be the fruit of your body, the produce of your ground and the increase of your herds, the increase of your cattle and the offspring of your flocks”, Deut. 28:4.

In Judea - it means your environment/city/town-“Blessed shall you be in the city”, Deut 28:3a.

In Samaria- it means your country-“And blessed shall you be in the country”, –Deut. 28:3b.

To the end of the earth- it means all over the world- “Now, it shall come to pass, if you diligently obey the voice of the Lord your God, to observe carefully all His commandments which I command you today, that the Lord your God will set you high above all nations of the earth” ,Deut. 28:1.

I want us to understand that this Holy Spirit is the one who used to anoint us with different kinds of anointing namely:

 Anointing to prosper-It will enable you to be prosperous in everything you are doing. It is the anointing that will take you from minimum to maximum. It does not matter how small you have started with but when this anointing is upon your life; you will prosper. Even though you are selling apples on the street, kapana,(roasted meat) or whatever you are doing. Others may be, without customers but you will flourish. This was the anointing that was upon Isaac in the land of Philistines during the time of famine. 1 "There was a famine in the land, besides the first famine that was in the days of Abraham. And Isaac went to Abimelech king of the Philistines, in Gerar. 2 Then the Lord appeared to him and said: “Do not go down to Egypt; live in the land of which I shall tell you. 3 “Dwell in this land, and I will be with you and bless you; for to you and your descendants I give all these lands, and I will perform the oath which I swore to Abraham your father. 4 “And I will make your descendants multiply as the stars of heaven; I will give to your descendants all these land; and in your seed all the nations of the earth shall be blessed; 5”because Abraham obeyed My voice and kept My charge, My commandments, My statutes, and My laws 6 So Isaac dwelt in Gerar. …12 Then Isaac sowed in that land, and reaped in the same year a hundredfold; and the Lord blessed him. 13 The man began to prosper, and continued prospering until he became very prosperous,.” Genesis 26:1-13 .“And you shall remember the Lord your God, for it is He who gives you power to get wealth, that He may establish His covenant which He swore to your fathers, as it is this day”,.-Deuteronomy 8:18.

 Anointing to break the yokes – This anointing destroys all the ungodly yokes e.g. sickness, poverty, failure, disappointment, fear, infirmity, doubt, etc. This is the anointing that came upon the woman of the issue of blood and the yoke of the issue of blood ceased-Mark 5:25-34. “It shall come to pass in that day, That his burden will be taken away from your shoulder, And his yoke from your neck, and the yoke will be destroyed because of the anointing,.”-Isaiah 10:27.

 Anointing of wisdom- This anointing will enable you to behave wisely in every situation. See then that you walk circumspectly, not as fools but as wise redeeming the time, because the days are evil” Eph. 5:15-16 /Colossians 4:5-6. It is also the same anointing that will enable you to build your house, business, and relationship with your spouse, friends, colleagues and business associate. It is also the anointing that will help you to build your fellowship with God ,- Isaiah 11:2.

 Anointing of understanding- this This kind of anointing will enable you to understand what others do not understand. It is the anointing that will enable you to establish a successful home, business, ministry, etc. This was the anointing that was upon Daniel and Joseph. “In as much as an excellent Spirit, knowledge, understanding, interpreting dreams, solving riddles, and explaining enigmas were found in this Daniel”, … Daniel 5:12/Isaiah 11:2.

 Anointing of counselling- This anointing will help you to take godly counselling and also enable you to give godly counselling to anyone that come to you for counselling and it will always lead to success. Isaac took and walked in the counsel of the Lord, that is why he prospered. David was always walking in the counsel of the Lord that; that is why he prospered. Daniel was always taking the counsel of the Lord; that is why, he prospered even in the strange land. Esther took the counsel of the Lord that is why, she won the crown. 15“ Now when the turn came for Esther the daughter of Abihail the uncle of Mordecai, who had taken her as his daughter, to go into the king, she requested nothing but what Hegai the king’s eunuch, the custodian of the women, advised. And Esther obtained favour in the sight of all who saw her. 16 So Esther was taken to the King Ahasuerus, into his royal palace, in the tenth month, which is the month of Tebeth, in the seventh year of his reign. 17 The king loved Esther more than all the other women, and she obtained grace and favour more than all the virgins; so he set the royal crown upon her head and made her queen instead of Vashti” Esther 2:15-17. Peter listened and obeyed the counsel of the Lord by launching his net and he caught a very great number of fish-Luke 5:4-6. Many people have been walking in human counselling but they had never sought for godly counselling that is why they have been living in frustration and disappointment. I want you to understand that according to Proverb 19:21”There are many plans (device) in a man’s heart (mind). Nevertheless the Lord’s counsel –that will stand” “Where there is no counsel (wise guidance), the people fall (perish, fail); but in the multitude of counsellors there is safety”,. (Prov. 11:14 /Isaiah 11:2.

 Anointing of might- This is the anointing that will help you to accomplish great things. It was this same anointing that came upon Peter and he was able to catch a great number of fish and the net was almost breaking. It was also the same anointing that used to come upon Samson; that is why he was able to singlehandedly killed thousands of soldiers, -Judges 14:6. This is the same anointing that came upon Ezekiel, when he prophesied life upon the dry bones; they came alive and became a very great army-( Ezekiel 37). It was this same anointing that brought Lazarus back to life- (John 11). It was the same anointing that healed the man at the beautiful gate,- Acts 3. When this anointing is operating in your life and through your life; you will experience mighty miracles and victories,. Isaiah 11:2.

 Anointing of knowledge-This is the anointing that will enable you to know how to acquire good things and how to keep them. This is the anointing that enables you to make wise investment. It is an anointing that increases you. 4“By knowledge the rooms are filled with all precious and pleasant riches. 5 A wise man is strong, Yes a man of knowledge increases strength;” -Proverb 24:4-5. For an example, a woman that is having a marital turbulence; after receiving counselling and she understand what is required from her as a married woman. She applied what she had learnt; peace, joy, love, understanding, etc. will definitely fill her home.

 Anointing of Joy- This anointing of joy will make a person to be in perfect health no health, no matter what he/she may be facing Psalm 45:7 “You love righteousness and hate wickedness; therefore God, Your God, has anointed you with the oil of gladness more than your companions. When you are operating in this anointing of joy; you will become a vessel of joy in your own life and in the lives of others. This is the kind of anointing that will enable you to conquer sorrow, frustration, rejection, disappointment, lack etc., Your heart will always be filled with joy and gladness and you will live in perfect peace. “A merry heart does good, like medicine,” But a broken spirit dries the bones”.-Proverb 17:22.

 Anointing of Excellence- When this anointing is upon you; it will make you to be successful above those who are successful. When you hear a student, passed with a first class honour, it means that student scored the highest marks above all the other students who have also passed. This was the same anointing which was upon Daniel, Shadrach, Meshach and Abed-Nego. 17 “As for these four young men, God gave them knowledge and skill in all literature and wisdom; and Daniel had understanding in all visions and dreams. 18 Now at the end of the days, when the king had said that they should be brought in, the chief of the eunuchs brought them in before Nebuchadnezzar. 19 Then the king interviewed them, and among them all, none was found like Daniel, Hananiah (Shadrach), Mishael, (Meshach) and Azariah; (Abed-Nego) therefore they served before the king. 20 And in all matters of wisdom and understanding about which the king examined them, he found them ten times better than all the magicians and astrologers who were in all his realm.”, -Daniel 1:17-20. …to be continued.…

Blessed be the name of the Lord who daily loads us with His benefits.

Our topic continues “HINDRANCES TO PRAYERS part 5” and these are some of the points on things that can hinder your prayers.

7. IF YOU DON’T LIKE READING THE BIBLE

Joshua 1:8 “This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observer to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have a good success. (NKJV)

This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth...

When you look at the above scripture, you will see that the word of God is with conditions. The Lord commanded us not to allow this book to depart from our mouth. It means it is possible for the book of the Law which is the word of God to depart from us. It means that it is also possible for the word of the devil to be in our mouth. When the word of the Lord is in you, the word of satan will be far from your mouth.

The word of God that we are hearing and we speak is Spirit and they are life. John 6:63 “It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing. The Words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life. (NKJV) The word of God is the only word on this planet that cannot change from generation to generation. The Bible says that the word of God is near us in our mouth to speak it. There is no excuse for anyone why you should not read the bible or speak the word of the bible.

Before we proceed, let us see what the word of God is saying in 2 Tim 3:16 16“All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, 17that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.

The bible – the word of God is not just an ordinary book that one can read today and tomorrow is no more. As we have been hearing that anyone that reads the bible too much will run mad or be confused. I want to tell you that these are lies of the devil, because he does not want you to know the word of God and the truth written in it. The devil knows that a Christian that is empty of the word of God is empty of the ways, the power, the peace, the love of God.

When You Know The Word Of God:-

• You will know the plan and purpose of God for your life- Jer. 29:11

• You distinguish between good and evil.

• Every situation will be for good and not for evil-Rom 8:28

• You will overcome the devices of the devil-Eph 6:11

• You will be able to fight a good fight of faith -2 Tim. 6:12

• You will be able to know the heartbeat of God.

• Your spirit will be strengthened-Eph 6:10

But when you lack the word of God

• You cannot stand in time of trouble.

• You will be like a house that is built on the sand and it cannot stand, because the winds and the heat of life will pull it down- Matt. 7:24-27

Heb 4:12 “The word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two edge sword... When you are filled with the word of God, though you walk in the valley of any kind of the shadow of death, you will be alive. When you are filled with the word of God; you will be powerful than your enemies. When you are filled with the word of God; you will be sharper than the weapons of your enemies. Eccl. 10:10 “If the axe is dull, and one does not sharpen the edge, he must use more strength ... That means when you lack the word of God, your life will be full of struggle. You will struggle too much with little success. The advice is this: sharpen your life with the word of God and improve your bible study.

8. DOUBT

Mark 11:22-24 22”So Jesus answered and said to them, “Have faith in God. 23“For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says, 24“Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray; believe that you receive them, and you will have them.”

James 1:5-7 5”If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach and it will be given to him. 6But let him ask in faith, with no doubting for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind. 7For let not the man suppose that he will receive anything from the Lord; 8He is a double minded man, unstable in all his ways.”

When you doubt the saving power of God, you cannot receive anything from the Lord. Mathew 18:18 “Assuredly, I say to you, whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven”. The Lord expects you to come to Him boldly without doubt. He expects you also to ask anything from Him in faith without doubt. He wants you to come to Him, tell Him your needs and believe that He has heard you and answered you.

Heb 11:6 “Without faith it is impossible to please the Lord... When you are coming to Him, He wants you to come in faith. Faith and doubt are contrary to one another. When you doubt; it means you don’t believe. When you have faith it means you believed. In this world, people will tell you that seeing is believing” but in the things of God, you have to believe before you see.

Abraham heard the voice of God to get out of his father’s house and he obeyed. Abraham believed in God that whatsoever the Lord has said shall stand, Eccl. 3:14 “I know that whatever God does, it shall be forever. Nothing can be added to it, and nothing taken from it. God does it that men should fear before Him”. His faith carried him. You must have faith; you must pray without doubt and you will receive what the Lord has promised you.

When you have faith you will overcome every situation in the Lord; you will surely overcome. Doubting the word of God will make you to seek for another option for help. In time of trouble; always remember that the Lord said in Mathew 7:7-8 7“Ask; and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and it will open to you. 8For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks it will be opened.” BELIEVE IN HIS WORD AND YOU SHALL BE ESTABLISHED.

9. ASKING WITH WRONG AND SELFISH MOTIVES:

James 4:2-3 2“You lust and do not have, you murder and covet and cannot obtain. You fight and war. Yet you do not have because you do not ask. 3You ask and do not receive, because you ask amiss, that you may spend it on your pleasures. When your intention is wrong, when asking God anything, God cannot answer you.

Luke 22:41-42 “saying father if it is your will, take this cup away from me; nevertheless not my will, but yours be done.”

There Are Three Different Kinds Of Will:

1. THE WILL OF GOD: - The will of God in a particular situation; it is how the Lord wants it to be done. The will of God for every person is that we may be saved, be in good health and prosper in our ways even as our soul prospers. 3 John 2 “Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers”. The Lord wants everyone to enjoy the benefits of the cross. Jesus shed His blood to save and deliver us from the powers of sin and be transformed into His precious image.

The will of God is His plan for good and not of evil to give you a future and a hope. I remember when I started praying for God to give me the woman He prepared for me as my wife. When I met my wife; it was arranged by God because I never went to Nigeria to get a woman but to study. I saw all the barriers that were on my way to marry her, but the Lord kept on telling me that is the woman I had for you. I thank God and always thank Him because I listened to Him today I am a happily married man without any regrets.

The Bible says that it is the blessing of the Lord that makes rich and adds no sorrow. Don’t pray for God to give you a car because your neighbour bought a car. Don’t pray for a husband/wife because your brother just got married. Pray because these are what the Lord has for you. Wrong motives in asking from the Lord are great hindrances to the will of God.

The will of God is a perfect one for you because God knows where you are going, but you do not know your tomorrow. When you pray like Jesus, that “Lord if it is your will let this cup pass me by but Lord if it not let your will be done.”

The Lord wanted some Christians to marry brother A or Sister A. However, they went their own way and marry brother B or sister B. Just because they have the physical qualities they want. When you enter into that kind of marriage you will suffer because favour is deceit and beauty is vain but a woman/man that fears the Lord shall be honoured-Prov.31:30 “Charm is deceitful and beauty is passing, (vain) but a woman (man) who fears the Lord, she (he) shall be praised”. Do not pray for blessings so that your family members will respect you, it is a wrong motive. Your desire to get a car is a good desire but let it be His time and the type of a car He want you to buy.

2. The will of man is to have everything which the flesh desires; to have and to show off. It is to be respected by the family members, friends and community at large and it is not for God to be glorified.

3. Will of the devil is to steal, kill and destroy: It is to render everyone on earth useless to his creator and not to be useful in the kingdom of God nor to receive anything from the Lord.

YES WE ALL HAVE OUR OWN DESIRES, BUT ALLOW THE LORD TO LIFT YOU UP IN HIS OWN TIME. LET YOUR PRAYERS BE ACCORDING TO HIS WILL. ALLOW HIM TO GIVE YOU YOUR DESIRE ACCORDING TO HIS WILL IN HIS TIME. John 15:7 “If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you”.

10. WHEN YOU ARE NOT SPECIFIC

Luke 18: 35-43 35“Then it happened, as He was coming near Jericho, that a certain blind man sat by the road begging. 36And hearing a multitude passing by, he asked what it meant. 37So they told him that Jesus of Nazareth was passing by. 38And he cried out, saying “Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me! 39Then those who went before warned him that he should be quiet; but he cried out all the more, “Son of David, have mercy on me!” 40So Jesus stood still and commanded him to be brought to Him. And when he had come near, He asked him, 41saying, “What do you want Me to do for you?” He said, “Lord, that I may receive my sight.” 42Then Jesus said to him, “Receive your sight; your faith has made you well.” 43And immediately he received his sight, and followed Him, glorifying God. And all the people, when they saw it, gave praise to God”. (NKJV)

What do you want me to do for you...Jesus is asking many Christians today what they want Him to do for them. What is that you want from the Lord, tell Him straight and simple so that He will do it for you. For an example when you go to an office; you must be specific to ask or state clearly what brought you there or if you are there stammering you will not receive any help. Also when you are praying for healing God expects you to state exactly what you want Him to do for you.

Are you just crying Jesus, Jesus, Jesus without presenting any request to Him? Are you just complaining without telling Him what is in your heart?

Are you like a patient that goes to see a doctor and upon reaching there, the doctor would ask her/him, “What is the problem Ma/sir? But you cannot make a clear statement what brought you to the hospital; you will end up going home without any proper check up and right medication. Make your request straight forward, short and simple like blind Bartimeus, “Lord That I may receive my sight.”

11. WHEN YOU MAKE A NEGATIVE CONFESSION WITH YOUR MOUTH

Number 13:30-33; 30Then Caleb quieted the people before Moses, and said, “Let us go up at once and take possession, for we are well able to overcome it”. 31But the men who had gone up with him said, “we are not able to go up against the people for they are stronger than we” and they gave the children of Israel a bad report of the land which they had spied, saying, “The Land through which we have gone as spies is a land that devours its inhabitants, and all the people whom we saw in it are men of great stature. 33“There we saw the giants (the descendants of Anak came from the giants); and we were like grasshoppers in our own sight, and so we were in their sight”. Number 14: 28-29 28“Say to them, ‘As I live, says the Lord, ‘just as you have spoken in my hearing, so I will do to you. 29“The carcasses of you who have complained against me shall fall in this wilderness, all of you who were numbered, according to your entire number, from twenty years old and above. Proverb 18:21 “Death and life are in the power of the tongue, And those who love it will eat its fruits.

Negative Confession

31 We are not able to go up against them... this is a negative confession. Many people spend hours in prayers; but after they finish praying; they start confessing negatively.

 A confession that kills the spirit and faith.

 A confession that destroys a man’s confidence.

 A confession that kills the seed of faith in your life.

 A confession that scatters what you have gathered

 A confession that pulls down what you have built.

 A confession that uproots what you have planted.

The Bible says in Matt 12:37 “For by your words (mouth) you will be justified, and by your word (mouth) you will be condemned”.

Beloved you may have been filled with negative words like:

 No one wants to help me

 I cannot succeed

 I am not able to do it

 It is very difficult

 I am in financial mess

 This sickness of mine, etc.

All these and many more are negative confessions. Be careful what comes from your mouth. When you receive the word of God, speak it and hold on it.

“There we saw the giants (the descendants of Anak came from the giants); and we were like grasshoppers in our own sight, and so we were in their sight”.... What does it mean to be like a grasshopper in your eyes? It means for an example; you are into a debt of N$3 million and your salary is N$5000-00. You look at yourself as a grasshopper and the debt is the giant which you cannot be able to pay. May be in this situation you are into has made you look like a grasshopper in your own eyes. The Lord said that you shall watch careful whatever you say. When you say you are sick; you will remain sick no matter how people are praying for your healing; you will not get healed.

Positive Confession

Then Caleb quieted the people before Moses, and said, “Let us go up at once and take possession, for we are well able to overcome it”. Have a positive confession in your life.

 You can do all things through Christ that strengthens you-Phil 4:13

 I can face any situation and conquer any battle-Rom. 8:31-35/Isa 43:1-4

 I will not die in this condition, but I will come out victorious-Rom 8:37

 The Lord shall supply my needs according to His riches in glory-Phil 4:13

 Who are you, O Great Mountain before me, you shall become plain in the name of Jesus-Zech. 4:7

 Greater is He that is in me than he that is against me- 1 John 4:14

 I am like a tree planted by the riverside no matter the drought in my environment I will flourish-Ps. 1:3

 I am healed by the stripes of Jesus no matter the pains in my body – Isa. 53:5

 I am not alone, because Jesus is with me-Matt 28:20/Josh 1:5

 I am a child of God and I am justified by the blood of Jesus-Rom.8:1

 I will not be put to shame-Rom 10:11/Isa.54:4

 My children are not useless-Isa 8:18

 No weapons formed against me shall prosper-Isa 54:17

 My Lord will show me a way of to escape from every trouble etc., and many other positive confessions that will help you to stand.

POSITIVE CONFESSION BRINGS HEALTH TO YOUR LIFE

CONSEQUENCES OF NEGATIVE CONFESSIONS, Number 14:28 “Just as you have spoken in my hearing, So I will do to you, the carcasses of you who have complained against me shall fall in this desert”.

Negative confessions will: -

o Turn your hope to hopelessness

o Turn your victory to defeat

o Turn you success to failure

o Turn your good health into bad health

o Will resist the hand of God not to help you.

NEGATIVE CONFESSIONS IS THE GREATEST ENEMY OF YOUR DAILY VICTORY.

Prayer Points

1. O Lord purge me with your fire, in the name of Jesus.

2. Blood of Jesus wash me and cleanse me in the name of Jesus.

3. Lord hold me not to fall in the name of Jesus.

4. O Lord Keep my feet standing on the Rock, till the end, in the name of Jesus.

5. Anything in my life supporting sin; I command you to die, in the name of Jesus.

Food for Thoughts

THE LORD IS GOOD, A STRONGHOLD IN THE DAY OF TROUBLE; AND HE KNOWS THOSE WHO TRUST IN HIM. THEREFORE TRUST IN HIM.

HINDRANCES TO PRAYER -PART 7

Blessed be the name of the Lord who daily load us with benefits. brethren we are still on our topic: HINDRANCES TO PRAYER part 7. There are many things that can hinder your prayers, but these are some of them. May God enlightened you as you read in the name of Jesus.

Wife, treat your husband as the head of the house; appreciate him in the little that he does. When you thank a person for what he did; he will do more.

• Your husband hates suspicions.

• Your husband hates nagging.

• Your husband hates it when you manipulate him to do something.

• He wants you to know that he is not perfect as you are not perfect.

• He does not like talking the same issue over and over again. It can pursue him out of house.

• Wife, submit yourself to your husband as to the Lord.

• Submit yourself in obeying the things that are godly. Beloved do not use own hands to hinder your prayers and that of your husband. Let there be unity, understanding and respect to one another.

16. NOT LOVING THE BRETHREN:

John 13: 34-35 “ A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another 35 “by this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.” 1 John 2:10-11 “He who says he is in the light, and hates his brother, is in darkness until now, 11But he who hates his brother is in darkness and walks in darkness, and does not know where he is going, because the darkness has blinded his eyes.

Brethren, the Lord has commanded us to love one another; He commanded us to love our neighbour as ourselves. Your brethren in Christ, your brother from your mother and father, your neighbour in your environment, your country man whether he is from your tribe or not. You are required to love everyone the Lord created.

Now when you as a child of God detest, hates, and despise your brother/sister; you think that God will understand why you hate him/her.

You may have some reason to hate your brother. You might have heard what he/she said against you. You might have been in need which your brother turned his back on you. Besides all these, you have no excuse to hate, despise or detest anyone.

If you hate your brother, you are still in darkness despite your speaking in tongues, seeing vision, prophesying and claiming of holiness, you may even have faith that moves mountains, but if you have no love you are nothing. 1 Cor. 13: 1-13.

Pastor, how many people have you hold in the dark corner of your heart? How many fellow pastors are you jealous of? How many children of God have you refused to forgive those who left your church? How many people, (that spoke against you) did you say you will never forgive them? Pastor, are you among those pastors who always say that they will hand over people to satan to be dealt with? How many people are you holding bitterness against? How many people are you quarrelling with in your heart now?

• When you hate anyone; you are still in darkness

• When you hate anyone; you are still walking in darkness

• When you hate anyone; you are blind because darkness has covered your eyes

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life John 3:16. As the Lord loves you, He commanded you to love others. 1 John 4: 19 “We love Him because He first loves us.”

Brethren if you are in this category of not loving others please go and make peace. The Lord commanded us to be at peace with one another. Open your heart to Jesus and ask Him to forgive you.

What to do to forsake hating others:

• Ask the Lord to come into your heart.

• Release everyone that hurts you from your heart.

• Ask the healing power of God to heal you.

• Thank Him for His peace and Holy Spirit.

Prayer point

1. I command every veil of darkness that has blinded my eyes to be cleared away in the name of Jesus.

2. Every path of hatred that is controlling my steps; be destroyed in the name of Jesus.

3. Every veil of darkness confusing my spiritual life, be destroyed in the name of Jesus.

17. PRAYING FOR DISPLAY OR SHOW.

Mathew 6: 5-6, 6“And when you pray, you shall not be like the hypocrites. For they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the corners of the streets, that they may be seen by men. Assuredly, I say to you, they have their reward. 6 “But you, when you pray, go into your room, and when you have shut your door, pray to your Father who is in secret place; and your father who sees in secret will reward you openly:”

In Terms of Giving:

There are many hypocritical Christians in the house of God. When they are giving to God they tell people how much they gave. When they give to anyone; they surely will talk about it: I have helped such and such a person. When they are giving their tithes, they write their names and amount of money on envelopes so that it should be known who they are and how much they are giving.

When announcement is made at the church; they will want their own giving to be known by everyone and they also want to be approached specially. Some want respect from the pastors and leaders of the church.

I remember of a woman who came to our church one time. She said that the Lord told her to give a certain amount of money; which she brought and we thanked the Lord. From there she wanted to be one of the church leaders. She started instigating things to some church leaders. She never knew that before she came to the church the Lord revealed to us what she came to do. From that moment, she started telling people that she brought such and such amount of money to the church. Besides all what she tried to do, her plans failed her and she ran away. Hypocrite!

They always engage men of God into long talks for men of God to see how spiritual they are, but in reality they are baby Christians or not Christians at all.

In Terms Of Prayer:

They pray like they are seeing Jesus face to face, but their hearts are far away from the Lord. When it comes to prayers, they speak in tongues more than others. In their houses when praying; they shout loud so that neighbours will hear as they are praying; shouting in prayers that are not from their hearts. At home they don’t even greet their own spouses. One woman told me that she doesn’t want her husband to touch her because he just came from sleeping with others, saying he will pollute her. Her husband was having an affair with another woman and by the time she found out, she was devastated, despite the husband’s plea for forgiveness; she refused to forgive her husband. This is one of the people that when she is praying; she will kneel down, speaking in tongues, vibrating, but she is living in bitterness and unforgiveness, however, she seems like a Spirit filled child of God.

Matt 6:14-15 14 “For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. 15But if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses. Matt. 18:35 “So My heavenly Father also will do to you if each of you, from his heart, does not forgive his brother his trespasses”. 1 John 3:15 “Whoever hates his brother is a murderer, and you know that no murderer has eternal life abiding in him”. (NKJV)

These kinds of people:

• In their houses they always justify their actions.

• They do not see their mistakes.

• They see themselves better than others.

• They boast in their own iniquity.

• They make idols in their hearts.

• They cover their sins, while pointing accusing fingers to others.

• They draw near to God with their mouths only, but their hearts are very far.

• They set up their hearts to their own ways.

• You cannot trust their words, because they are clouds without water.

• They pretend that all is well with them.

• They are proud people who refuse to humble themselves before the Lord.

• They always say that the spirit says and which spirit, Holy Spirit, evil spirit or human spirit? They will not specify which spirit.

• They are very manipulative - they have made many men/women of God to lie, see fake visions and falsely prophecy.

Isaiah 29:13 “Therefore the Lord said: Inasmuch as these people draw near with their mouths and honour Me with their lips, but have removed their hearts far from Me, And their fear toward me is taught by commandment of men ...”

PRAYER POINTS

1. Any issue between me and God serving as a hindrance to my answered prayers be revealed and be removed, in the name of Jesus.

2. Every satanic strategy to cause my prayers not to be answered be exposed and be destroyed, in the name of Jesus.

3. The grace to always abide in the Lord, come upon me, in the name of Jesus.
