Topic: PRAYERS TO SUBDUE ANTAGONISTS AND THEIR ANTAGONISMS

“They only consult to cast him down from his high position; they delight in lies; they bless with their mouth, but they curse inwardly (Ps. 62:4 NKJV)

Blessed be the name of the Lord who daily loads us with benefits. The steadfastness love of the lord never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; Great is your faithfulness” (Lamentation 3:22-23)

I want you to understand that there is something called antagonism and antagonists. Antagonists are people who are there to disregard all your efforts. This is one of the powers that look and mock everything you are doing. These are the powers of darkness that possess your juniors not to carry out the instructions you are giving to them in your working place.

I want you to understand that in life whether presently as you are reading this you might not yet be in the position of authority but one day you might find yourself in such position. The people that are working under you need to carry out your instructions whether in your absence or your presence. Many companies are falling apart today because most workers are antagonising or undermining one another. If you happen to employ an antagonist as your driver, he will be arriving late, go wherever he wants to go with your car. If you employ an antagonist as a house help, she will be pouring all kinds of insult on you like telling you she will not cook for another person’s children, iron your  husband’s clothes etc,. An antagonist in the company can easily influence others. An antagonist is always looking for your failure and downfall.

If you are not careful the antagonists will break you down in such a way that you might end up losing your confidence. I just want to give few biblical example of people that faced antagonism and how they dealt with it.

Example 1: Moses (a)   In Numbers 12:1-16: Looking at the above scriptures we see how Miriam looked down on Moses. This is contributed to the fact that Miriam is the elder sister to Moses. She is the Hebrew girl that watched over Moses when their parent placed Moses in the basket and place it in the water. You can say Miriam has changed the nappies of Moses; it was difficult for Miriam to have any iota of respect to Moses. Sometimes the enemy can use the members of your family to antagonise you on any decision you might have taken. They are undermining you because of maybe they are older than you. If you employ them, they will not like to carry out instruction. This is the reason why you see sometimes instead of someone to employ his/her brother, they will rather chose a stranger because they know that their brother will always be picking fight against them.

(b) Numbers 16: Korah, Dathan and Abiram were also Levites like Moses. They instigated others to antagonise Moses and his leadership.

When people want to take away your position, they can go to any length to try to discredit you. This  people instigate others against you that they know better than you, they have more interest of the team than you,. They can tell your colleagues that they can represent them more than you.

2. Nehemiah – Nehemiah 4

Nehemiah was assigned by God to rebuild the wall of Jerusalem. Immediately he started the work the enemies rose up against him. Sometime the antagonists rose up in the form of discouragement. Therefore in anything you are doing, you need to be focused and be determined to reach your destination.

• · Remain in the Lord and pursue your vision-Hab 2:1-3
• · Do not allow anyone or anything to distract you-Heb 12:2
• · Determine to overcome-Rev.12:11, 1 Jn  4:4
• · Call upon God to strengthen your hand in whatever you are doing-Ps 91:15
• · Believe in God who said whatever you lay your hands to do shall prosper-Ps 1:3
• · Stand on all the promises of God for your life- Isa 34:16-17
• · Do not cast away your confidence which you have in the Lord-Heb 10:35
• · Believe that you can do all things through Christ who strengthens you-Phil 4:12
• · You are the apple of God eyes-Zech 2:8
• · God is the wall of fire around you and your glory-Zech 2:5-9
• · You are saved and washed by the blood of Jesus Christ- 2 Cor 5:17
• · God loves you so much-John 3:16

When David proposed to fight Goliath, everyone in the army antagonised him. They were telling him how Goliath is a warrior and he has won many battles while David had no military training. Though people antagonised him even called him all sorts of names, he remained confident. He challenged his enemy and he came back victorious.

As a married woman, it is possible for your in-laws to antagonise you by calling you names like you are from a house of white chickens; your marriage is fake, etc. Do not allow people’s perception about you to knock you down. You also have to be careful not to antagonise yourself. You must have  self-confidence that will come in your union with Christ.( John 15:5)

4. I pull down every altar of antagonism in my life, in the name of Jesus.
5. Every congregation of antagonists in my place of work scatter by fire, in the name of Jesus.
6. Every altar of antagonism, erected to antagonise my life, be crushed to powder by the Rock of Ages, in the name of Jesus.
7. I command confusion upon the camp of antagonists, in the name of Jesus.
8. I command civil war in the camp of antagonists, in the name of Jesus.
9. Let the plans of the antagonists fail woefully, in the name of Jesus.
10. Let the head of any congregation of antagonists; be crushed in the name of Jesus.
11. Let every antagonist in my office fall into their own pits, in the name of Jesus.
12. Let the network of antagonists in my office be scattered by fire, in the name of Jesus.
13. Every crowd of antagonism covering my life be scattered by fire, in the name of Jesus.

Topic: CRUSHING THE ALTARS OF BALAK

Praised the Lord! Our God is good. He is a stronghold to those that trust in Him (Nahum 1:7).

I want you to understand that your success is an attraction of respect and jealousy. There will be people who will decide to fight against you even though you have never picked a fight with them. While you are celebrating your victory; there are people who are planning for your downfall as in the case of children of Israel. Why do we call this topic: Crushing the altar of Balak?

The holiday time is the time to meet all kinds of Balaks. After toiling for the whole year, you are now able to extend your house, buy a new car, clothes and electronics gazette. Those Balaks will look at you and see that your children are well fed, their clothes are so beautiful. Also your children did exceptionally well at school. From there they will go to their evil meetings at night to plan against you.

Last month, there was a man who got solar electricity installed in his house on a Thursday, then on Friday, he was burnt by the solar. People were wondering how can this happen. Yes it is the evil power in that village that were not happy why he is the one to get electricity and at night they went and killed him.

Take These Prayers:

• 1. Every Balak in my village, waiting for me during this holiday, I command you now, catch fire and die, in the name of Jesus.
• 2. You my village receive fire, possess fire and become fire, in the name of Jesus.
• 3. You my village cooperate with me and fight for me, in the name of Jesus.

Balak was the king of the Moabites when the children of Israel were on their way to the Promised Land. When Moab saw them and how they subdued other nations before them, Moab was afraid.

Because of their fear, they went to a witch doctor with a request to curse the children of Israel. They did this peradventure war break out between them; the curse from the Balaam will help them to defeat Israel.

I want you to understand that there are people in your school, office, business area, neighbourhood, etc who have seen how you are succeeding. The next thing is to look for how to stop your progress.

The Altar Of Balak

• · It is an altar erected to attack your life. This wicked people Look for assistance from witchdoctors to hold you down while they are defeating you.

• · This altar is erected because of envy and jealousy.
• · When this altar is at work; you will find it difficult to pay your instalments or school fees or project.
• · You will begin to fail where you were supposed to win.

• · You begin to find it difficult to finish your project.

• Any personalities that has been assigned to stop my progress; be destroyed by the fire of the Holy Ghost, in the name of Jesus

This Wicked People Whom I Called The Enemies Of Your Progress Are Ready:

• · To pay any amount just to see that you are stopped. They can even wear 1 pant for 3 months because they are ordered by witchdoctor to do so in order to be able to destroy or defeat you.
• · To become widows/widower just to stop your progress.
• · To become childless just to stop your progress.

It is unfortunate even as you are reading this book; you don’t know how many people are busy planning against you.

You don’t know how many people have gone to witch-doctors just to make you to walk out of your marriage, stop your progress, etc.

The fact that you don’t know that someone is planning against you does not mean you will be safe from that attack; therefore you need to be prayerful.

I want you to understand that victory is already given to you before you started to pray. This is one of the reasons the Lord said “whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved” (Roman 10:13 NKJV).

GOD WHO KNOWS THE END BEFORE THE BEGINNING, GOD WHO KNOWS TOMORROW BEFORE IT COMES, AND GOD WHO SEES IN DARKNESS KNOWS THAT THE ENEMY IS GOING TO WAGE WAR AGAINST YOU. That is why He gave us this prayer topic and please pray earnestly and wholeheartedly and victory will be yours, in the name of Jesus.

Just as Moab send for a witch –doctor to try and curse the children of Israel. It is how there are people in your business line, place of work, school, neighbourhood who want to do you harm just because of your present success.

I want you to understand that there is a breakthrough you will get and it will make the whole world to react. People in this world don’t want to see another person on top but it must only be them. If you happen to move up the ladder, they will be ready to pull you down. Envious people want to protest against your success but they want to be praised when they have succeeded. Don’t be surprised if anti-corruption agents begin to investigate how come your company won a multi-million dollars contract/tender. Some companies can go to court so that the tender you won must be cancelled. The arguments will be that your company is too small to carry out that tender. This is the reason why you see many people who are not committed to finish the task which they are paid for.

The wickedness that is going on now is because of envy and jealousy. There are some of your friends that will stop greeting you once you get a job, marriage, buy a car, house, etc, they will say you don’t want them anymore because  they don’t  have what you have, but all is a lie.   You have to stand up in the name of the Lord and destroy every altar of Balak erected against you and your family.

You don’t need to be afraid of your enemies who went to consult evil forces in order to subdue your life. Devil is a gambler, he always try to see if he can win. Remember that God did not give us the spirit of fear but of love, sound mind, boldness and self-control (1 Tim 1:7).

28. All the evil desires of my enemies over my life will not prosper in the name of Jesus.
29. I command confusion between Balak and Balaam which has risen against me, in the name of Jesus.
30. Let my enemies and their congregation be scattered unto desolations, in the name of Jesus.’
31. All the harms which the enemy prepared against me, will fall upon their own heads, in the name of Jesus.
32. All the damage done in my life on the altars and sacrifices of my enemies, be repaired by the blood of Jesus, in the name of Jesus.
33. Everything which I have lost because of the attacks of the altars of my enemies, be restored sevenfold, in the name of Jesus.
34. I receive the strength to overcome all the altars of my enemies, in the name of Jesus.

Topic: NOT ME NOT MY FAMILY

Blessed be the name of the Lord our God who daily load us with His marvellous benefits. God is good. He is a very present help in time of trouble. (Ps 46:1)

This section is a very much interesting section. You may not understand it from the beginning; nevertheless, as we proceed, you will see why you need to pray the prayers that will follow. NOT ME NOT MY FAMILY IS A TOPIC taken from the book of Esther from chapter 3 through to chapter 7. In this chapters; the word of God talked about how Haman the enemy of the children of God was threatening to annihilate (destroy) them. By that time, the Lord has exalted Esther to the position of a Queen in that kingdom.

In the face of adversity, the Jews humbled themselves before God in fasting and prayers, God heard from heaven and answered their prayers. It was Haman who was hanged in the stead of Mordecai.

In this programme, I want you to humble yourself before the Lord, “…God resist the proud, but gives grace to the humble.” Therefore humble yourself under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time” (James 4:10, 1 Pet 5:5b-6NKJV). Let what want to hang you and your family be hanged on your place, in the name of Jesus.

In life you need to make a decision that what is destroying others will not destroy you. What is afflicting others will not afflict you. If you sit quiet while the enemy is fighting you; scattering all you have laboured for, you will end up being destroyed.

As a child of God, you have to stand to confront your confrontation. When you stand against your enemy, God will give you all the assistance you need.

God has promised that “A thousand may fall at your side and ten thousand at your right hand side but it shall not come near you” but only with your eyes shall look and see the reward of the wicked” (Psalm 91:7 NKJV).

God also promised that” He will bless those who bless you and curse those who curse you” (Gen.12:3 NKJV)

In life there are people who want to destroy you without any cause. They don’t want to see neither you nor your family making any progress.  This is the reason why you must put on the heart of enough is enough in your life and family.

Therefore in this programme; stand strong in the Lord against every Haman of your family.

Who is the Haman of my family you may ask? The Haman of your family:

• (1 Is the power of darkness that wants to see your family completely destroyed.
• (2 It is the power of darkness that wants to see nothing good come out of you.
• (3 Those are the wicked people who are ready to pay any amount of money just to see that you are denied what was     rightfully yours.
• (4 Those are the people who don’t want to see or hear about you and your family‘s existence.
• (5 Those are the wicked people who are demanding for your worship before you receive any good thing.
• (6 Hamans are the power that have marked their evil calendars for the day of your family’s destruction
• (7 They are the powers that boast against your family, etc.

You may be wondering why you need to pray for your family. You need to pray for your family because:

1. You are the intercessor

“So I sought for a man among them who would make a wall, and stand in the gap before Me on behalf of the land, that I should not destroy it; but I found no one” (Ezekiel 22:30 NKJV). You need to pray for them for the reason that you are that man who is among your family who can stand and pray. You are that person who can pray to break the chains of lateness in marriage, divorce, sickness, alcohol, delay, frustration, confusion, failure, and all kinds of bondage which your family has entered into.

2. You are the weapon of God

As you are born again; you are a new creation, (2 Cor. 5:17). You are God’s battle axe (Jer. 50:20-23). God has ordained you to be His prophet (minister) unto Him “to root out and to pull down, to destroy and to throw down, to build and to plant” (Jer. 1: 5, 10).

3. You are the Light

You are the light bearer, (Math 5:12). Let the light of God shine through you to the family and the world. Let the light of God bring life to your family (John 1:4-5), this is the reason you must not only pray for yourself, pray for your family and don’t desire to be the only one that is prospering while  your family members are in abject poverty.

4. You are the Messenger of God

²³ “If there is a messenger for him (family),  a mediator, one among a thousand,  to show man His uprightness, ²⁴ Then He is gracious to him and says, ‘Deliver him from going down to the pit; I have found a ransom.²⁵ His flesh shall be young like a  child’s.  He shall return to the days of his youth. ²⁶ He shall pray to God, and He will delight in him, He shall see His face with joy, For He restores to man His righteousness. ²⁸ He will redeem his soul from going down to the pit, And his life shall see the light ²⁹ “Behold God works all these things, twice, infact, three times with a man, ³⁰ to bring back his soul from the pit, that he may be enlightened with the light of life” (Job 33:23-30).

I want you to understand that as a child of God; created in the image of God (Gen.26-28 NKJV). Devil hates you with everything he has. He does not want any good thing to happen to you or any member of your family.

He wants you to live a defeated life, nevertheless it’s for the devil to desire your defeat and another thing is for you to be determined not to allow the desire of the enemy to prosper over your life.

This is why you must take the battle to the camp of your enemy.

Please bow down your head and repent on behalf of your family and also re-dedicate them to God ¹³“When I shut heaven and there is no rain, or command the locust to devour the land, or send pestilence among My people,   ¹⁴”If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face,  and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and their land” (2 Chro 7:13-14 NKJV).

Repentance Prayer

Lord Jesus! Thank You for my family and I.  I have come to you today to forgive our sins and all the abominations which we have committed against you. Wash us with your blood and make us new people in you in the name of Jesus.

Thank you Jesus for forgiving and restoring us back to you, in the name of Jesus. Amen!

Prayer Points

⁹ Help us, O God of our salvation, for the glory of Your name; And deliver us, and provide atonement for our sins, for Your name’s sake! ¹⁰ Why should the nations say, “Where is their God?” let there be known among the nations in our sight.
