Blessed be the Lord our God, who daily loads us with His benefits. “The Lord is good, a stronghold in the day of trouble; and He knows those who trust in Him” (Nahum 1:7 NKJV).

“THE LORD WILL PERFECT THAT WHICH CONCERNS ME; Your mercy, O Lord endures forever; do not forsake the works of your hands”. (Psalm 138:8 NKJV)

We thank God for this month of April. This is our month of Great Dawn. In this month, our path shall shine like the shining sun, and it will shines ever brighter unto the perfection of the day in our marriages, health, studies, works and spiritual lives, in the name of Jesus! (Prov. 4:18)

Last month we started this topic our divine perfection. We are now in this sub topic “Knowing the Power in the Word of God”. “The word of God is living and powerful and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow and is a discerner of thoughts and intents of the heart” (Heb. 4:12). THE WORD OF GOD WHICH WE CALLED THE BIBLE IS A WORD WITH A VISION ON A MISSION TO ACCOMPLISH WHAT IS SENT FORTH (Isa 55:11). Behind every scripture is power. It comes with divine power of God which perfects all that concerns us.  It is powerful, strong and it has different features:

  • ü Restoration Power: In God’s restoration power, He has promised our captives will be set (Jer. 33:1-18). Our damage lives will be restored to its former glory. It does not matter what the devil has done or stolen from us. All the things we have lost in the past will be restored in the name of Jesus! “So I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten. The crawling locust the consuming locust and the chewing locust, my great army which I sent among you” (Joel 2:25 NKJV).
  • ü Creative Power: Our God called things out of nothing and they appear as if they were there. “(As it is written) “I have made you a father of many nations) in the presence of Him whom he believed-God, WHO GIVES LIFE TO THE DEAD AND CALL THOSE THINGS WHICH DO NOT EXIST AS THEY DID” (Rom. 4:17 NKJV). “By faith, we understand that the world was framed by the word of God, so that the things which are seen were not made of things which are visible” (Heb. 11:3NKJV). In God’s creative power, we must call things out of nothing. Open your mouth and begin to call (mention them) greatness out of little things. Fruitfulness out of barrenness. Sanctification out of uncleanness. Strength out of weakness. Joy out of sorrow. Glory out of shame. Honour out of dishonor. Beauty out of ashes.  Healing out of sickness. Prosperity out of poverty. Progress out of delay, in the name of Jesus! Praise the Lord. Your God created the world by His spoken word. CREATE YOUR OWN WORLD FROM THE WORD OF HIM (BIBLE) WHO CREATED THE WORLD JUST BY SPEAKING. His name is Alpha and Omega, the Beginning and the End, the First and the Last, the Lord of Hosts, the Ancient of the Days, Everlasting God, Haleluijah!
  • ü Sustaining Power: This is the power which sustains us. It sustains our health, marriage, education, spiritual life, Christian journey, etc. “No more shall an infant from there live but a few days (years) nor a man who has not fulfilled his days…” (Isa. 65:20 NKJV). It prolongs our lives and every area of our lives. May the mighty sustaining power of God, sustain us, in the name of Jesus!
  • ü Saving Power: This is the power in the word of God which delivers us from sins and troubles. “Now I know that the LORD SAVES His anointed; He will answer him from His holy heaven with the SAVING STRENGTH OF HIS RIGHT HAND” (Ps.20:6 NKJV). May God’s saving power, save us from all kinds of danger and destructions, in the mighty name of Jesus! Whenever evil is happening at the back, we shall be at the front in the name of Jesus! If it is happening at the front, we shall be at the back, in the name of Jesus! We are not candidate of destructions, in the name of Jesus!
  • ü Watering Power, 1“Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly… 2 but his delight is in the law of the Lord, and in his law he meditates day and night. 3 He shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that brings forth its fruit in its season, whose leaf also shall not wither and whatever he does shall prosper”(Ps.1:1-3 NKJV). This is the power in the word of God which waters our lives. Once we received the word of God, start meditating on it and applying in our lives, then our lives will be watered in the area/s we apply the word of God. This is how some areas of our lives are giving fruits of hundred folds, sixty folds and thirty folds while some areas of our lives have little or no fruit to show forth. 18“therefore hear the parable of a sower: 19 when anyone hears the word of the kingdom and does not understand it, then the wicked one comes and snatches away what was sown in his heart. This is he who received seed by the wayside. “20 But he who received the seed on stony places, this is he who hears the word and immediately receives with joy……..23“But he who received seed on the ground is he who hears the word and understands it, who indeed bears fruit and produces: some a hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty”(Matt 13:18-23). I command your lives to receive the word of God and apply it, in the name of Jesus! Let every area of our lives receive life, in the name of Jesus! Receive understanding in the name of Jesus! Let the rain of heaven water our lives, in the name of Jesus!

In God’s perfection; He gave His son Jesus Christ who died on the cross of Calvary for us. In everything we are doing, God has a role to play. All we need is to know which part God has to play and the part we have to play.   Frustration, confusion and discouragement in what we are doing is caused by our lack of knowledge, not knowing  in our lives which part we have to play and which part God has to play. Sometimes, we try to do what God supposed to do and we abandon what we supposed to do. Therefore, in everything we are doing; let’s ask God the wisdom to know the things we need to do and let Him do whatever He need to do. As a pastor; my work is to preach and teach the word of God. The works of Holy Spirit is to convict and transform the lives of the people of God. We may ask God to convict, transform the hearers of the word, but He is the doer of all things. We need to be patient with God. You may pray for the sick but it’s the Lord who heals.

I Would Like Us To Memorize The Following Words Of Wisdom About God And Us

  1. Prov. 16:1 “The preparation of the heart belongs to a man” (our) that means we are have the right to plan and set goals for ourselves “but the answer of the tongue is from the Lord”.

Prayer Point: O Lord give me answer to the questions of life, in the name of Jesus.

  1. Prov. 16:9: “a man’s heart plans his way. But the Lord directs his steps”. We are free to plan whatever we desire to do. But it’s God who has the responsibilities to direct and order our steps into perfection.
  2. Prov. 19:21: “There are many plans in a (our) heart, nevertheless, the Lord’s counsel will stand”.  Many things we are intending to do can only come to pass and remain forever when we allow and follow God’s instructions for our lives.
  3. Psalm 127:1 “Unless the Lord builds a house, they labour in vain who build it; unless the Lord guards the city, the watchman stays awake in vain. It is vain for you to rise up early. To sit up late, to eat the bread of sorrows; for so He gives His beloved sleep”. This scripture is not encouraging us to be lazy but it is teaching us that in our early rising by seeking and doing whatever we need to do; let us rise with the Lord and work or build with the Lord.   1. I receive the anointing of diligent in whatever I am doing, in the name of Jesus.
  2. O God of divine perfection perfects all that concerns me, in the name of Jesus.
  3. I overcome every cloud of discouragement, in the name of Jesus.
  4. I take authority over my emotions and I subdue it under the obedience of Christ Jesus, in the name of Jesus.
  5. I wash my mind from my past pains with the blood of Jesus, in the name of Jesus.
  6. Healing and restoration power of God, heal and restore my life to the fullest, in the name of Jesus.
  7. I recover my mind from every mind controlling demons, in the name of Jesus.
  8. This year is prosperous to me, in the name of Jesus.
  9. Thank You for answering my prayers, in the name of Jesus.

Pray as the Spirit of the Lord gives you utterance!
