OUR MONTH OF TOTAL RECOVERY

I would like to welcome you in this month of May 2017. This is our month of 'TOTAL RECOVERY'. I declare into your life, any opportunity, position and possession that you might have lost. May the Lord grant you power to recover them all, in the name of Jesus.

Whatever the enemy stole from you consciously or unconsciously, you will recover all without fail, in the name of Jesus. By the grace of God, as the Lord lives and His Spirit lives, you have begun your journey of TOTAL RECOVERY, in the name of Jesus. Therefore, I declare over your life “to RECOVER AND POSSESS ALL”, in the name of Jesus.

1“Now it happened, when David and his men came to Ziklag, on the third day, that the Amalekites had invaded the south and Ziklag, attacked Ziklag and burned it with fire. 2 and had taken captive the women and those who were there, from small to great, they did not kill anyone, but carried them away and went their way. 3 so David and his men came to the city, and there it was, burned with fire; and their wives, their sons, and their daughters had been taken captive. 4 then David and the people who were with him lifted up their voices and wept, until they had no more power to weep 5 and David's two wives, Ahinoam the Jezreelites, and Abigail the widow of Nabal the Carmelite, had been taken captive. 6Now David was greatly distressed, for the people spoke of stoning him, because the soul of all the people was grieve, every man for his sons and his daughters. But David strengthened himself in the Lord his God. 7 Then David said to Abiathar the priest, Ahimelech's son, “please bring the ephod here to me.” And Abiathar brought the ephod to David. 8 So David inquired of the Lord, saying, “Shall I pursue this troop? Shall I overtake them? And He answered him, “Pursue, for you shall surely overtake them and without fail recover all” 1 Sam 30:1-8

The above scriptures are talking about the events that took place in the life of David and his men. They went to battle and when they came back, they found their city burnt down and their families and properties were taken away by the enemy. Every one of them was devastated because of their families and properties. David and his men came back and faced disappointment, discouragement, hopelessness that means they wept until no more strength left in them to cry. I do not know what sorts of setbacks which you have faced in the past, and what is going on in your mind right now.

IN YOUR DISTRESS, ENCOURAGE YOURSELF ALWAYS!

In verse 6, David was greatly distressed because people thought of stoning him. Are you going through the same situation as David? Are you distressed? It is not abnormal, it is part of your journey in life. I know as you are going through these challenges, people are already stoning you with all kinds of words. But like David; encouraged yourself daily in the Lord.

Prayer Point: No matter the opposition, I will possess my position and possessions, in the name of Jesus.

INQUIRE FROM GOD!

Verse 8, David inquired from the Lord. So, you must also inquire from Him on what He wants you to do, and how you should go about your life issues, for it is only His Word That Will Remain Forever In Your Life.

Prayer Point: Lord, show me the way and lead me out of my predicament, in the name of Jesus.

NEVER GIVE UP!

9“So David went, he and the six hundred men who were with him, and came to the Brook Besor, where those stayed who were left behind. 10 But David pursued he and four hundred men; for two hundred stayed behind, who were so weary that they could not cross the Brook Besor”. Others may give up in their journey to recovery, but you must be like David who ran in the strength of the Lord and hold on to His promises for your life.

Prayer Points:

I refused to give up; it’s my enemies that will give up, in the name of Jesus.

May the Lord strengthen you where others are fainting, in the name of Jesus.

BE KINDHEARTED!

11” Then they found an Egyptians in the field, and brought him to David; and they gave bread and he ate, and they let him drink water 12 and they gave him a piece of a cake of figs and two clusters of raisins. So, when he had eaten, his strength came back to him; for he had eaten no bread nor drunk water for three days and three nights”.

In your journey to recovery; be kind-hearted, do not just concentrate on your needs and pains. Help also those you may find on the way, they might be the ones with the keys to open your doors. Though, you are hungry, share your little meal with those who are hungry; share your few garments with the naked. The secret of the solution to your problems lies in you solving other people's problems. God, bless you all. Happy and blessed May, in the name of Jesus.

May you recover all you have lost, in the name of Jesus.
